Geri Halliwell of the Spice Girls came to my home in Battersea, London 1994 prior to her Spice Girl fame. Growing up as young girls we were influenced by the heroines of 60's & 70's TV and film culture. This image was inspired by Roger Vadim's movie Barbarella. Shot on 35mm film and using a cross- processed technique of developing the film, these images have a high colour contrast and grainy feel associated with this technique.
